3 Way Stainless Ball Valves, depending on the port configuration chosen, allow for the direction and redirection of flow from one or different sources into a specific output.

  • Advantages: This is a specialised valve used to Divert Flow in differing configurations. It has 3 port options and can reduce the number of fittings used in a set-up by replacing the use of two or more regular two port valves or doing away with the need for tees and close nipples. It allows you to direct flow with a single fitting reducing your number of hose connections.
  • Difference between an L-Port and T-Port Ball Valve:

  • L-Port:
  • Allows for flow between any 2 Ports in a L shape. Note: Flow can be stopped in this format. They divert flow to flow to either the left or right in a set-up.
  • T-Port:
  • Allows for flow between any 2 Ports or all 3 Ports at once. Note: Flow cannot be stopped in this format. They act like a Tee Fitting. Often referred to as mixing valves since they can combine flow from two sources.
