Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings
Pipe Fittings are threaded connectors used to join fittings, pipes and other industrial component parts. They are also known as stainless steel pipe fittings, stainless hose fittings and SS Pipe Fittings. There are many different types of threaded plumbing fittings, the most common of which include hose barbs, pipe nipples, threaded couplings and unions, elbow fittings and tees, threaded reducers and pipe flanges. In addition to making the join between fittings, the different types of stainless steel threaded fittings allow one to adapt connection sizes and change directions. These stainless steel pipe connectors are manufactured out of Stainless Steel 304 & 316 which provide corrosion resistance and long service life.
Why use?
- Provide a reliable solutions for fluid transfer and connection needs across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Male and Female threads
- The fittings have either male threads or female threads, which enable them to be screwed onto or into the corresponding threaded pipes and fittings.
- The stainless steel BSP fittings have male tapered threads that ensure a secure and leak-proof connection when threaded together.
- The BSP female threads are parallel.
Installing threaded fittings
- Thread the Male BSP thread into the corresponding Female BSP thread, or the Female BSP Thread onto a Male BSP thread of the same size.
How to size
- A stainless pipe fitting is sized according to the size of the thread it will connect to.
- A 1” BSP threaded fitting will connect with a 1” thread.
